Australia - Measures Affecting the 'Importation of Apples from New Zealand', WTO Panel Report, WTO Doc. WT/DS367/R (9 August 2010)

Abstract: The Australia Apples Case is discussed to explain the various measures that have been implemented by the WTO for protecting the local agriculture of a member state from diseases, while protecting the imports taking place to that country. The panel decision and the various implications of the same on both Australia and New Zealand are analyzed in the article.
