Abstract: Sue Gordon, herself a member of the Stolen Generations, was appointed Chair of the Northern Territory Emergency Response Taskforce (NTERT) in 2007. Sue Gordon addressed The Sydney Institute on 10 June 2008 and outlined the Taskforce's role and terms of reference, and discussed the first phase - stabilisation, law and order, the second phase - normalisation, and the third and final phases.
