Abstract: Details of U-CAN READ, a collaborative parent education program run by National Capital Centre for Literacy Research, are presented. The Centre is research based and is focused on making use of technology to re-engage students in reading. Technology includes Kindles, iPads, computers, digital cameras and iPods.
