New National Qualifications for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers

Abstract: The Australian National Training Authority has contracted Community Services and Health Training Australia (CSHTA) to develop new national qualifications for Aboriginal health workers and Torres Strait Islander health worker. New qualifications would allow for an extension of successful training and assessment strategies and for the development of the health worker workforce, and result into better recognition of the skills and knowledge of health workers.
